Steelers | Early exit for Pat Freiermuth on Tuesday Tue Aug 3, 02:56 PM
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (shoulder) was unable to finish practice Tuesday, Aug. 3, and was later spotted icing his left shoulder.
|Footballguys view: No idea of the severity just yet. Freiermuth has drawn a lot of "Baby Gronk" comparisons because of his size and strength combination, but we think he's actually more like former Steelers tight end Heath Miller. We'll see if the rookie from Penn State has to miss some time due to this shoulder injury.|
Cardinals | Christian Kirk not practicing Tue Aug 3, 02:39 PM
Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (undisclosed) has been nursing a minor undisclosed injury recently, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Tuesday, Aug. 3, that he expects Kirk back 'soon.'
|Footballguys view: It's an undisclosed injury so who knows what's keeping Kirk out of action. If he's going to return soon as Kingsbury says then it must not be anything too major.|

Jets | Elijah Moore rises up depth chart Tue Aug 3, 02:30 PM
New York Jets WR Elijah Moore worked with the first team - ahead of Keelan Cole - on the first play of practice for the first time Tuesday, Aug. 3.
|Footballguys view: The drumbeat continues. All offseason long we've heard nothing but good things about the rookie Moore coming out of Jets camp. He's working with the first team early in training camp and we're excited to see what he can do in the preseason.|
Bears | Tarik Cohen nowhere close to return Tue Aug 3, 02:21 PM
Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen (knee) is 'weeks away' from being activated off the Physically Unable to Perform list, according to comments made by head coach Matt Nagy on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
|Footballguys view: If he's 'weeks away' then that means Cohen is unlikely to return for training camp and the preseason. In fact, there's a chance that Cohen could begin the regular season on the PUP list. This means the Bears could lean on Damien Williams to do a little more when starter David Montgomery needs a rest.|

Cowboys | Dallas being conservative with Dak Prescott Tue Aug 3, 02:00 PM
Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (shoulder) has not experienced any kind of setback with his shoulder injury, but head coach Mike McCarthy and the training staff have decided to be a 'little more conservative with the rehab' upon further reflection. As such, Prescott will not play in the Hall of Fame game on Thursday, Aug. 5.
|Footballguys view: No surprise here. With the Hall of Fame Game, the Cowboys will be playing this week and there's no need to put Prescott out there for an exhibition game. If all continues well with his rehab, then perhaps Prescott will play in a game or two the rest of the preseason.|

Colts | Jacob Eason to be busy in preseason opener Tue Aug 3, 01:49 PM
Indianapolis Colts QB Jacob Eason is expected to play about two quarters against the Carolina Panthers in the teams' preseason opener on Aug. 15, according to head coach Frank Reich.
|Footballguys view: The Colts have to give Eason a lot of work. He's in line to be the starter with Carson Wentz out for the start of the regular season. Eason is a big-bodied pocket passer with a big arm and say-it-don't-spray-it accuracy. The Colts insist they are not interested in trading for a veteran (like Nick Foles) but that sentiment could change if Eason doesn't look good in the preseason.|
Falcons | Calvin Ridley feeling confident in foot Tue Aug 3, 01:39 PM
Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley told reporters Tuesday, Aug. 3, that his surgically repaired foot is 'totally, definitely fixed.' Ridley added that his foot was not in good shape last season.
|Footballguys view: Ridley was bothered by his foot injury for most of the 2020 season and that's why he had offseason surgery to repair it. What he was able to do on a bad foot (90 catches, 1,374 yards, nine touchdowns) is incredible in hindsight. This year with Julio Jones traded away Ridley is set to be targeted early and often in 2021.|

Giants | Kenny Golladay's day cut short Tuesday Tue Aug 3, 01:32 PM
New York Giants WR Kenny Golladay (leg) suffered an apparent left leg injury during practice Tuesday, Aug. 3. He immediately went to the sideline and then with trainers inside the team's facility for further evaluation, according to a source.
|Footballguys view: We'll have to wait and see what's going on with Golladay before commenting further. The Giants no.1 receiver is there to help QB Daniel Jones in a make-or-break year for the young passer. We'll see what's going on with his leg when more information is revealed.|

Rams | Matthew Stafford avoids serious injury Tue Aug 3, 01:23 PM
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (thumb) is dealing with a swollen thumb after X-rays on his injury came back negative Tuesday, Aug. 3.

Chiefs | Tyreek Hill a no-go Tuesday Tue Aug 3, 01:20 PM
Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (knee) did not take part in practice Tuesday, Aug. 3, due to knee tendinitis, according to head coach Andy Reid.
|Footballguys view: Hill is getting some rest and the team might limit him in the preseason. Once the regular season hits, Hill should be back to his normal self. Hill is a late first-round pick in most formats, with a current ADP of WR2 (1.11) in 12-team PPR formats.|

Falcons | Atlanta checks in on D'Onta Foreman Tue Aug 3, 01:12 PM
Free-agent RB D'Onta Foreman (Titans) is trying out with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

Texans | Deshaun Watson update Tue Aug 3, 01:02 PM
Updating an earlier report, Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson (foot, ankle) was looked at by the trainers Monday, Aug. 2, for a foot or ankle injury. He was held out of practice Tuesday, Aug. 3, due to the lingering injury.
|Footballguys view: The Texans were in pads for the first time on Tuesday. They didn't want to get Watson hurt, so they held him out of practice. This injury could linger a little longer while the team figures out what they must do with him.|

Giants | Alfred Morris returns to NY Giants Mon Aug 2, 11:56 PM
Free-agent RB Alfred Morris (Giants) signed an undisclosed contract with the New York Giants on Monday, Aug. 2.
|Footballguys view: Morris is back with the Giants to give them veteran depth in the backfield. The Giants say there's a chance Saquon Barkley will be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. If he's not, then they could turn to Devontae Booker and Morris to run the rock.|

Titans | Julio Jones makes early exit Monday Mon Aug 2, 10:05 PM

Broncos | Drew Lock, Teddy Bridgewater still even Mon Aug 2, 02:50 PM
Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock and QB Teddy Bridgewater are competing for the starting quarterback job, and head coach Vic Fangio said neither quarterback has taken the lead at this point. Lock and Bridgewater will continue to evenly split snaps during practice over the next few days.
|Footballguys view: After five practices, with no pads on, things have been fairly close. Bridgewater had a bad day on Saturday (three interceptions) and Lock had a bad day last Thursday (no completions in team drills until final drill), but for the most part things are even. The team's preseason games will likely decide the starter as there's been little separation in practice. The offense will run the ball early and often in 2021. Who wins the QB job will determine a pecking order at wide receiver. If Lock is the starter, that's better for Courtland Sutton. If Bridgewater wins the job that's better for Jerry Jeudy. Stay tuned.|

Ravens | Marquise Brown expected to miss more time Mon Aug 2, 01:53 PM
Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown's (hamstring) hamstring injury is more serious than the team initially thought, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
|Footballguys view: This is not the injury you want to see with a super fast and super quick receiver like Brown. Hamstring injuries can linger if not given time to rest. Brown has missed the last three practices because of the injury.|

Vikings | Olabisi Johnson placed on IR Mon Aug 2, 01:02 PM
Minnesota Vikings WR Olabisi Johnson (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Aug. 2.
|Footballguys view: Olabisi Johnson suffered a torn ACL in practice and is now lost for the season. It's bad news for a promising young player who was competing to be the no.3 receiver for the Vikings. Now, the team will turn to newly signed Dede Westbrook to fill that spot.|

Colts | More on Carson Wentz Mon Aug 2, 12:45 PM
Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz (foot) had an old injury, potentially in high school, where he unknowingly suffered a broken foot. A piece of bone has broken off from that original injury.
|Footballguys view: Wentz (foot) will miss five to 12 weeks after deciding to undergo foot surgery. The team went back-and-forth on the decision for Wentz to have surgery, and a 12-week absence means Wentz would get into action around October. Adjust all Colts fantasy players accordingly as this is bad news for their offense.|
Carson Wentz player page
Colts | Carson Wentz out 5-12 weeks Mon Aug 2, 12:19 PM
Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz (foot) will miss five to 12 weeks after deciding to undergo foot surgery. Head coach Frank Reich said they went back and forth with it all weekend, but they determined surgery was the correct option.
|Footballguys view: The Colts have 2020 fourth-round pick Jacob Eason as their starter right now with Wentz down for the beginning of the regular season. Rookie Sam Ehlinger will get some opportunity to do more as well. At this time, the Colts have not shown interest in adding a veteran quarterback while Wentz is out. Josina Anderson reports the Colts have had "no substantive point-to-point talks" for Bears QB Nick Foles. Most think if the Colts do make a move, it would be for Foles given his history with head coach Frank Reich.|

Eagles | More on DeVonta Smith Mon Aug 2, 11:56 AM
Updating an earlier report, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) has a sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee that will cost him two to three weeks.
|Footballguys view: Smith is a speedy rookie who is going to miss on valuable camp time with QB Jalen Hurts due to this injury. However, a 2-3 week timetable means Smith should be ready to rock for Week 1 of the regular season.|
Dolphins | DeVante Parker activated Mon Aug 2, 11:51 AM
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (undisclosed) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Monday, Aug. 2.
|Footballguys view: Good news for the veteran here. He was placed on the PUP list at the start of camp for whatever injury situation this is (the team left his status undisclosed). Now, he's back and ready to build on the chemistry he started with QB Tua Tagovailoa last year. Parker is seen as a WR5 with upside for Fantasy GMs in 2021. He's got a current ADP of WR57 (13.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.|

Eagles | DeVonta Smith out a couple weeks Mon Aug 2, 10:50 AM
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) has a minor knee sprain and should only be out for a couple of weeks.
|Footballguys view: The reports indicate Smith will miss 2-3 weeks. That keeps him out of the preseason but he should be ready to rock for Week 1 of the regular season.|
Cowboys | Amari Cooper in top shape Sun Aug 1, 09:25 PM
Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle) came into training camp in great shape, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. 'Everything's been extremely positive from the strength staff,' McCarthy said. 'His weight is as low as it's been since I've worked with him, so he looks great.'
|Footballguys view: Great news for Cooper here. Jerry Jones previously said that Cooper is expected to return to practice after the team's August 13th preseason game. It sounds like everything is on track for Cooper after he underwent ankle surgery after the 2020 season. Cooper is going to compete with CeeDee Lamb to be the top receiver for a high-powered Cowboys offense in 2021. Fantasy GMs see Cooper as a WR2 with upside, and he's got a current ADP of WR16 (4.08) in 12-team PPR leagues.|

Saints | Two CBs expected to join Saints Sun Aug 1, 04:17 PM
Free-agent CB Prince Amukamara (Cardinals) and CB KeiVarae Russell (Packers) are expected to sign with the New Orleans Saints in the near future. Both players worked out for the team Sunday, Aug. 1.
|Footballguys view: The Saints have a hole in the cornerback group to fill after Janoris Jenkins left in free agency which gives Amukamara something to strive for. Amukamara was once a shut down corner, but he spent most of last year on the Cardinals practice squad. At this point, it would be a win for Amukamara to make the team, and a win for the Saints if he can contribute quality snaps in any way.|

Colts | No surgery for Carson Wentz yet Sun Aug 1, 02:56 PM
Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz (foot) plans to avoid surgery at this point and will rehab his injured foot over the next few days, according to a source. Wentz has a chance to play Week 1 if he can make progress with rehab.
|Footballguys view: This plan doesn't usually avoid surgery in the long run, but it can allow a team to have full availability of a player for part or all of a season. Mobility is important to Wentz's game, so while this could get 17 games played back in play for him, it is still a development that diminishes his fantasy outlook. A local report by beat writer Mike Chappell indicates that the Colts are still mulling over their options, so this may not be the last update we get on the team's decision on the plan of care for Wentz.|

Titans | Tennessee works out two kickers Sun Aug 1, 02:55 PM
Free-agent PK Sergio Castillo (Jets) and PK Lirim Hajrullahu (Panthers) recently worked out for the Tennessee Titans.
|Footballguys view: The Titans have a kicker battle going on between Tucker McCann and Blake Haubeil. This could be a sign that they are open to adding a third kicker and not pleased with what they have right now.|
Jets | Michael Carter working as No. 1 RB Sun Aug 1, 01:36 PM
New York Jets RB Michael Carter has been working with the first-team offense during the early portion of training camp.
|Footballguys view: Carter has the look of the player who will lead all Jets backs in fantasy value, but it's not clear how much that will help fantasy teams. He should be a PPR friendly back with his pass catching skills and could be one of the biggest values in fantasy drafts if he is a good fit in Mike LaFleur's Shanahan-style running game.|
Patriots | Jarrett Stidham to start on PUP list Sun Aug 1, 12:51 PM
New England Patriots QB Jarrett Stidham (back) will start the season on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season.
|Footballguys view: The Patriots don't need Stidham with Mac Jones in tow, but this does decrease the possibility that Newton would be available in a trade to a quarterback needy team if Jones runs away with the quarterback competition.|

Eagles | DeVonta Smith suffers minor injury Sun Aug 1, 11:44 AM
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (leg) sustained a minor leg injury during practice Saturday, July 31.
|Footballguys view: We'll trust that it is minor until we hear otherwise. Hopefully Smith is back to practice within a few days with no recurrence of the injury. In the meantime, Greg Ward should get more snaps in the slot if Smith sits.|
Rams | Robert Rochell eyeing Monday surgery Sat Jul 31, 10:14 PM
Los Angeles Rams CB Robert Rochell (wrist) suffered a wrist injury Saturday, July 31, that will require surgery, according to head coach Sean McVay. Rochell is expected to undergo surgery Monday, Aug. 2, and is out indefinitely.
|Footballguys view: Rochell is a highly athletic small school corner that the team took in the fourth round this year. Darious Williams already had rave reviews of the rookie, so he was on track to contribute this year potentially in a subpackage role. This could affect his ability to help the secondary this year, but file away that Rochell was off to a good start before the injury.|
Vikings | No practice yet for Christian Darrisaw Sat Jul 31, 09:54 PM
Minnesota Vikings OT Christian Darrisaw (groin) did not take part in the team's offseason workouts after having surgery to repair a core muscle injury last January. He also has sat out the first three days of camp and there is no word on when he might return, according to Judd Zulgad of SKOR North.
|Footballguys view: Darrisaw is a candidate to start at left tackle after the team took him in the first round, but if he is out for much longer, it will be difficult for him to overtake Rashod Hill. This development is less than ideal for the Vikings offense.|
Browns | More good things ahead for Austin Hooper? Sat Jul 31, 09:44 PM
Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper 'had a nice season for us (in 2020)' and the team is expected to 'grow his role in 2021' in part because 'he just really understands now in Year 2 how we plan to use him,' according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.
|Footballguys view: Hooper could approach low TE1 value if his role increases, but his ceiling is still low in a the Browns balanced offense. This could put him back on the radar in typical leagues and ups his profile in tight end premium and best ball drafts.|
Austin Hooper player page
Panthers | Shaq Thompson leaves practice early Sat Jul 31, 09:03 PM
Carolina Panthers LB Shaq Thompson (lower body) was sent home early from practice after he experienced some tightness in his lower body, according to head coach Matt Rhule.
|Footballguys view: Thompson is a key player in the Panthers defense, but they did add Denzel Perryman and Haason Reddick to the linebacker group this offseason. Perryman's IDP value would trend up if Thompson's tightness turns into a larger issue.|

Lions | T.J. Hockenson standing out Sat Jul 31, 08:22 PM
Detroit Lions TE T.J. Hockenson has been the 'best offensive skill player' during the first four days of training camp, according to MLive.com's Kyle Meinke.
|Footballguys view: Hockenson has a good chance to lead the Lions in receptions as Jared Goff made Tyler Higbee the #1 fantasy tight end in December 2019. This positive news about Hockenson doesn't dispel that notion and makes taking him at ADP a good plan to keep up with teams that take one of the top three tight ends or Kyle Pitts.|

Vikings | Olabisi Johnson done for the year Sat Jul 31, 08:14 PM
Minnesota Vikings WR Olabisi Johnson (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in practice Friday, July 30, and will miss the rest of the season.
|Footballguys view: Dede Westbrook was recently signed to compete for the third wide receiver job, so the Vikings might not make a move at wide receiver to replace Johnson. Fifth round rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette should also get more opportunities in the wake of this loss.|

Browns | Nick Chubb set to ink big extension Sat Jul 31, 08:03 PM
Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension worth $36.6 million - including $20 million guaranteed - on Saturday, July 31.
|Footballguys view: Despite the narrative that implores teams to not sign running backs to often regretted second contracts, this is a good move for the Browns. Chubb's contract isn't out of line with recent running back deals, and he is an ideal back for this system. The Browns are also sending a message to the team that player who outperform rookie deals will get rewarded before they get to the end of those contracts.|

Dolphins | Will Fuller remains day-to-day Sat Jul 31, 07:47 PM
Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Will Fuller (undisclosed) is listed as day-to-day, according to head coach Brian Flores.
|Footballguys view: Hopefully Fuller gets back on the field soon. Between this, Jaylen Waddle still reportedly limping at times per Adam Beasley and DeVante Parker starting camp on the PUP list, a suddenly resurgent Albert Wilson will have a chance to break into the wide receiver rotation and further muddy this unclear passing game target tree.|

Dolphins | Xavien Howard improving, remains out Sat Jul 31, 07:45 PM
Updating previous reports, Miami Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (ankle) did not participate in practice Saturday, July 31, but he is improving, according to head coach Brian Flores.
|Footballguys view: There have been no reports of a team closing in on a deal for Howard even though he has requested a trade. We'll see if this is a passive holdout type of injury, or one that Howard returns to the practice field from soon in a sign that he isn't going to be a problem if the Dolphins don't trade him or give him a new contract.|

Cowboys | Tyron Smith still absent from practice Sat Jul 31, 07:38 PM
Dallas Cowboys OT Tyron Smith (elbow) remains out of practice as of Saturday, July 31, because of elbow tendinitis.
|Footballguys view: Smith is one of the best in the game, but he has also battled a lot of injuries in recent years. We'll be monitoring this as the Cowboys try to get their once dominant line back to top form.|
Cowboys | Dak Prescott working on the side Sat Jul 31, 07:35 PM
Updating an ongoing story, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (shoulder) took part in individual drills Saturday, July 31, but did not throw once again, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.
|Footballguys view: We can't be sure if this absence will be days or weeks. It will give Ben Dinucci, Garrett Gilbert, and Cooper Rush a chance to assert themselves as the backup quarterback. We haven't moved Prescott down in rankings significantly, but it will give us pause if he can't suit up during the preseason.|

Giants | Matt Peart passes physical Sat Jul 31, 06:55 PM
New York Giants OT Matt Peart (back) passed his physical Saturday, July 31.

Titans | Luke Stocker coming back to Nashville Sat Jul 31, 06:39 PM
The Tennessee Titans signed free-agent TE Luke Stocker (Falcons) to an undisclosed contract Saturday, July 31.

Titans | Bud Dupree activated from COVID list Sat Jul 31, 06:32 PM
Tennessee Titans LB Bud Dupree (knee) was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, July 31.
|Footballguys view: Dupree isn't a sure thing to be 100% for Week 1 coming off of an ACL tear. The Titans will have to chase and contain Kyler Murray to open the season, so we'll be watching the reports about Dupree's recovery from surgery to add to the forecast of that intriguing matchup.|

Giants | Joe Looney agrees to deal with NYG Sat Jul 31, 06:19 PM
Free-agent OL Joe Looney (Cowboys) agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal Saturday, July 31, according to a source.
|Footballguys view: Looney is a very savvy signing for the Giants. He can be a quality backup at all three interior offensive line spots and also be a solid starter if needed, which is important in the wake of the near-miss of a serious injury for guard Shane Lemieux.|
Vikings | Kellen Mond tests positive for COVID-19 Sat Jul 31, 05:46 PM
Minnesota Vikings QB Kellen Mond (illness) tested positive for COVID-19, a source said Saturday, July 31. As a result, QB Kirk Cousins will not practice as a precaution after being deemed a close contact. The team will be without three quarterbacks for Saturday's night practice as Minnesota performs contact tracing.
|Footballguys view: This is a reminder that covid is going to affect player availability again this season. Unvaccinated players will be subject to a longer absence than vaccinated players, although we may not learn that a player is unvaccinated until the length of his absence is announced. Teams may go back to carrying an emergency quarterback on the practice squad to avoid what happened to Denver last year when they had to start Kendall Hinton.|

Saints | Devonta Freeman agrees with New Orleans Sat Jul 31, 05:39 PM
The New Orleans Saints agreed to terms with free-agent RB Devonta Freeman (Bills) on a one-year deal Saturday, July 31, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Financial terms were not disclosed.
|Footballguys view: Freeman's signing could be an indication that the Saints want to use Alvin Kamara as a receiver more while Michael Thomas is out. He's a different type of back than the #3 before his signing - Ty Montgomery, who is a dual threat like Kamara. For now Freeman belongs on the list of #3 backs to file away as potential waiver wire pickups if injuries thin the depth chart ahead of them.|

Lions | Detroit to use hot-hand approach at RB Sat Jul 31, 03:53 PM
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell addressed the backfield of RBs D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams, saying he will ride the hot hand. 'We're going to use both of those guys, they know that. A guy gets a hot hand, he's rolling. If Jamaal is in there, we're rolling. Jamaal is going to be rolling, and we'll use Swift for other things. Which is fine. That's a good problem to have. I'm glad we got him, I know that,' Campbell said. He added, 'The place I just came from, obviously with AK (Alvin Kamara), and to have Mark Ingram when I first got there -- Mark was a stud, still is a stud, by the way -- that's my vision of this one-two punch (in Detroit). To have what we had after we left with (Latavius) Murray as well. Murray was that guy for us, and that's how I see Jamaal Williams for us, for Detroit.'
|Footballguys view: Swift is much more likely to be the hot hand, so this shouldn't ding his ADP too much, but it is confirmation once again that the Lions don't see Swift as a clear lead back and Williams as a clear backup.|

Jets | Zach Wilson struggles in first practice Sat Jul 31, 02:39 PM
New York Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 1-for-7 passes in the red zone during team drills Friday, July 30, and he clearly struggled in his first NFL practice, according to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano. Wilson completed 3-for-8 with an interception and threw a few others that nearly were picked off in the rest of practice, but Vacchiano noted it should be expected since Wilson is a rusty rookie quarterback who hadn't practiced in 43 days. To the contrary, Wilson completed a 50-yard pass to rookie WR Elijah Moore, which excited the team.
|Footballguys view: Wilson is going to be the starter no matter how he performs in training camp, but you hope to see improvement as camp goes on. The Carolina Panthers defense might be a good one to target in Week 1 DFS lineups and a last round draft pick for streamers.|
Giants | Shane Lemieux avoids serious injury Sat Jul 31, 02:11 PM
Updating a previous report, New York Giants OG Shane Lemieux (knee) avoided serious injury after being carted off the field Thursday, July 29. He will miss a 'couple weeks,' but the injury will not require surgery, a source said.
|Footballguys view: This is a break for the Giants as Lemieux is slated to be a starting guard on a line that lost Kevin Zeitler this offseason. The Giants line is one of the critical points of failure in an offense that has to improve from a dismal 2020.|
Colts | Brett Hundley signed by Indy Sat Jul 31, 02:03 PM
Free-agent QB Brett Hundley (Cardinals) was signed an undisclosed contract Saturday, July 31, with the Indianapolis Colts.
|Footballguys view: Hundley comes to the Colts because they are without starter Carson Wentz due to a foot injury suffered in practice this week. Wentz may miss the early part of the regular season and that means Jacob Eason will be their starter. Behind Eason, Hundley competes with guys like Sam Ehlinger and UDFA Jalen Morton to establish the depth chart.|
