Seattle Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori (ankle) will not be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of his ankle injury, according to head coach Mike Macdonald.
Link to storySeattle Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. CB Devon Witherspoon (knee) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. S Julian Love (groin) was limited in practice on Friday but is expected to play. LB Ernest Jones (shoulder), LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee), DL Jarran Reed (back), and WR Dareke Young (hamstring) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Aaron Rodgers will likely get to dodge Witherspoon, and Riq Woolen, the Seahawks other long/fast/physical corner, had some major lapses last week. The Seahawks second round pick, Emmanwori, was seen as a potential x-factor who could make splash plays early in the season, so Pittsburgh is lucky to avoid him too. If the pass rush doesn't get home, the Steelers could have some success throwing downfield against the Seahawks. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (foot), OT Luke Goedeke (foot), and WR Mike Evans (rest) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 12. DL Greg Gaines (ankle), TE Ko Kieft (head), OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) were limited in practice. S Christian Izien (oblique), CB Zyon McCollum (neck, shoulder), CB Benjamin Morrison (quad), and LB Haason Reddick (quad) practiced in full on Friday.
Footballguys view: The Bucs are already likely to be without their left tackle, Wirfs. If their right tackle, Goedeke is also out, the Texans pass rush will be tough to slow down on Monday night. Don't expect a ceiling game from Baker Mayfield this week. |

Tennessee Titans OT JC Latham (hip) and DL T'Vondre Sweat (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams. RB Kalel Mullings (ankle) and S Kevin Winston Jr. (hamstring) were limited in practice on Friday, Sept. 12, and listed as doubtful. CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee) was limited in practice on Friday but no longer appears on the injury report. S Quandre Diggs (hand) and LB Arden Key (pectoral) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: The Rams catch a small, or actually rather large break with the 360+ pound Sweat out against an offensive line that has two banged up guards. Latham will be missed on the Titans offensive line - expect the Rams edge rush to attack his replacement. |

WRs Darnell Mooney (shoulder) and WR Drake London (shoulder) were full participants and have also been removed from the injury report.
Footballguys view: Mooney and London being off of the injury report is all the clearance you need to start them where you normally would. The Vikings are not an easy defense to pass against, but Michael Penix Jr. should have more success than Caleb Williams did in Week 1. |

New Orleans Saints S Julian Blackmon (shoulder) is feared to have suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder during the Week 1 game, and is undergoing tests to see if he will need season-ending surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Footballguys view: Blackmon, 27, has already recently suffered a torn labrum, having undergone surgery to repair it in January. But this injury is to a different part of the same labrum and may require season-ending surgery. A Colts third-round pick in 2020, Blackmon joined the Saints in July on a one-year deal. He's recorded 10 interceptions and 22 passes defended in his 67 career games. |
