| Footballguys view: Noel is a hyper quick receiver who can get open in tight spaces. In addition to what he can do as a slot receiver, Noel should contribute on special teams as a returner. Lachey had a knee injury a few years ago at Iowa, and he would've been a higher draft pick if not for that injury. There's some TJ Hockenson to his game, but he's clearly got to stay healthy and prove himself as a late-round pick. |

He's a tight end with toughness and run-after-the-catch ability, but he's also an H-back, slot option, and even Wildcat quarterback. Warren can do it all, but he's much more than just a new version of Taysom Hill. No matter who is throwing passes (Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson), they should find Warren as he can get open against all sorts of coverage. |

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert agreed to a revised deal that includes a $10 million salary (down from $14 million) with $1 million in possible incentives.
| Footballguys view: A 2018 second-round pick out of South Dakota State, Goedert was the subject of trade talks this offseason. He's started 76 games for the Eagles, compiling 349 catches for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns. He had 42 catches for 496 yards and two scores in 10 games during the regular season in 2024 and led the team in receptions (17) and receiving yards (215) during their Super Bowl run in the postseason. Injuries have kept him from reaching his full potential in Philadelphia. He's missed three or more games in each of the last three seasons. That history and his uncertain future with the club (at least until today) explain Goedert's TE17 Average Draft Position in early Underdog best-ball drafts. |

You know, Year 2 of the system. Year 2 of understanding what we're trying to do offensively. All those things that come with it, so expecting a lot of good things from Kyle. He knows what he needs to work on with the details, some of the fundamentals and techniques, the consistency down in and down out, those are things we talk about with him and (tight ends coach Kevin) Koger talks about with him all the time is those finer details and that next level that he can take as a player. So I'm pumped for Kyle, can't wait to get on the field with him and that's going to be a lot of fun to see his growth,' Robinson said.
| Footballguys view: We touched on this on Sunday when Robinson's quotes first circulated. Adding to that, we'll remind you that Pitts, who doesn't turn 25 until October, had 68 receptions for 1,026 yards as a rookie. But those numbers remain his career bests after four seasons. He had a career-high four touchdowns last year, but his overall line of 47 catches for 602 yards and the four TDs is hardly much to get excited about, especially for a former No. 4 pick. His yards were 13th among TEs, his catches tied for 21st and his touchdowns tied for 11th. Still, the Falcons picked up his fifth-year option for this season, making it a make-or-break year for Pitts in Atlanta. So whatever the formula is for Pitts to find success with the Falcons, it needs to come this year. Time is running out on the potential. |

More importantly, for our purposes, while he was third in total fantasy points at the position behind Brock Bowers and Trey McBride, Kittle was first in points per game, with 15.8. This kind of finish is not new. Since his breakout in 2018, Kittle has been a top-five fantasy TE in six seasons where he played at least 14 games. With Deebo Samuel Sr. now a Washington Commander and with Brandon Aiyuk coming off a torn ACL, Kittle, currently TE3 on our 2025 projections, will continue to play a prominent role in the Niners' passing attack. |

General manager Howie Roseman was vague about the situation, according to the team press transcript. 'Dallas is part of the team as we speak,' Roseman said when asked if not drafting a tight end reflects upon Goedert's status. 'Obviously, as we go forward, we're going to continue to address things on this team and right now nothing further.'
| Footballguys view: Goedert's future has been questioned due to his $11.7 million cap hit in 2025 and zero guaranteed money remaining on his contract. Now 30 years old, Goedert has played a full slate of games only once in his seven-year career -- and that was as a rookie. He managed a career-low 10 regular-season appearances last season due to injury, which led to a career-low two touchdown catches. Goedert's 496 receiving yards and 42 catches also marked lows outside his inaugural campaign in Philly. As NFL.com suggests, Roseman's non-answer on Goedert's future likely speaks volumes to some. There's still plenty of offseason left to figure out if it's simply the GM keeping things in-house or a sign of a split to come. |
