Footballguys view: It's Chargers versus Raiders on the Monday night finale in Week 2. Bowers said he would be okay, and practicing on Saturday makes us feel better about his availability. Nothing is official, so make sure to have other options (perhaps evan Raiders backup TE Michael Mayer) ready in case Bowers doesn't play. |
The Washington Commanders re-signed free-agent TE Lawrence Cager (Commanders) to their practice squad Saturday, Sept. 13. In a corresponding move, P Mitch Wishnowsky was released from the practice squad.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) has been ruled out for Week 2's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: No surprise here. Goedert didn't practice all week and is not going to play in the Super Bowl rematch against the Chiefs. Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson will split up the tight end duties. Without Goedert on the field, WRs AJ Brown and Devonta Smith should get more looks. |

Link to storyDenver Broncos TE Nate Adkins (ankle) and LB Dre Greenlaw (quad) were limited in practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. TE Evan Engram (calf), DL John Franklin-Myers (knee), and LB Alex Singleton (thumb) practiced in full on Friday, Sept. 12, and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Engram left last week with a calf injury, but is good to go against the Colts. He's a high floor/low ceiling TE1 play this week, and more attractive in PPR leagues and .5 and nonPPR leagues. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (foot), OT Luke Goedeke (foot), and WR Mike Evans (rest) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 12. S Christian Izien (oblique), CB Zyon McCollum (neck, shoulder), CB Benjamin Morrison (quad), and LB Haason Reddick (quad) practiced in full on Friday.
Footballguys view: The Bucs are already likely to be without their left tackle, Wirfs. If their right tackle, Goedeke is also out, the Texans pass rush will be tough to slow down on Monday night. Don't expect a ceiling game from Baker Mayfield this week. |

Arizona Cardinals TE Tip Reiman (foot) will not be available for the Week 2 game, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Link to storyPhiladelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is out of practice Friday, Sept. 12, and is likely doubtful for Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: #3 receiver Jahan Dotson, who had the biggest play in the passing game for the Eagles in Week 1, could play a larger role this week. Grant Calcaterra is backing up Goedert, and can replace some of his presence in the passing game, but Calcaterra is a subpar blocker and can't provide the same kind of presence as Goedert in helping the whole offense go. |

Baltimore Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (foot) is unlikely to play in Week 2. He did increase his activity level in practice Friday, Sept. 12, working out in front of the training staff.
Footballguys view: If you've been holding onto Likely in your deep or tight end premium league, don't drop him yet. Mark Andrews didn't have a big role in the passing game in Week 1 and the Ravens offense looks as potent as ever. |
Baltimore Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (foot) was in uniform and working out in front of members of the athletic training and medical staffs on Friday, Sept. 12, The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec reported.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft had six receptions, 124 yards, and a touchdown in the team's Week 2 victory over the Washington Commanders. Kraft was targeted seven times.
Footballguys view: Kraft broke free for a 57-yard gain early in the game and the Commanders still didn't seem like they could cover him all night. He could take on a more central role in the passing game with Jayden Reed out. After Week 2, there's no reason for Kraft to be on your bench when you set your lineup. |
Tucker Kraft player page
Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz had six receptions (on eight targets) for 64 yards and a touchdown during the team's 27-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.
Footballguys view: Ertz also drew a holding penalty in the end zone to set up another score. He has still got it at 34, and Jayden Daniels needed his prowess in the short and intermediate game to move the ball in the second half. Ertz has scored in both games this year and should be in fantasy lineups against the Raiders next week. He will be a priority pickup if he's out there in short bench leagues. |

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: This is looking like a game-time decision. Nothing has been announced, but Bowers insists he's fine with this knee injury. It may not be a serious knee injury, but it's cause for pause when considering your starting lineup. Let's see what Bowers does on Friday. |
