Free-agent WR Keelan Doss signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Footballguys view: Doss was thrust into the lineup for the Raiders back in 2019 but has mainly been a practice squad player for them. We'll monitor him but only in super deep dynasty formats. |

Free-agent OT Trey Adams, TE Nate Becker, RBs Christian Wade and Antonio Williams, DT Brandin Bryant, DEs Bryan Cox Jr. and Mike Love, WRs Tanner Gentry, Jake Kumerow and Duke Williams, CB Dane Jackson, S Josh Thomas and QB Davis Webb signed Reserve/Future contracts with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Footballguys view: Gentry was a favorite target of QB Josh Allen in college at the University of Wyoming. He's a try-hard slot receiver who has bounced around the league. Let's see if working with Allen again can help him stick on a roster. |

Free-agent WRs Reggie Begelton and Juwann Winfree, C Jake Hanson, PK JJ Molson, CB KeiVarae Russell and DL Delontae Scott signed Reserve/Future contracts with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Footballguys view: Winfree was an intriguing late-round prospect when the Broncos drafted him a couple of years ago. He needs to stay healthy (that was a problem for him in Denver) but we'll continue to monitor him in super deep dynasty formats. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) is expected to be ready to play in Super Bowl LV, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Whether or not Watkins plays is pretty much irrelevant for the Chiefs offense. They are explosive with him on the field, and they have no problem making plays when he misses time...and he misses quite a bit of time. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown (knee) is expected to be ready to play in Super Bowl LV, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Brown had to miss the NFC Championship Game and now with more time to get healthy we should see him in the big game. That means Scotty Miller or Tyler Johnson might get fewer snaps in the Super Bowl. |

Free-agent WR Martavis Bryant (Raiders) signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League Monday, Jan. 25.
Footballguys view: Bryant has not played since 2018 as the NFL has indefinitely suspended him. He applied for reinstatement in 2019 but now finds himself making a trip up North to keep playing. Perhaps if he performs well in Canada then he could get back to the NFL. It's more likely that his playing days in the NFL are done. |

Detroit Lions impending free-agent WR Marvin Jones could be an option for the Tennessee Titans if the Titans decide not to re-sign impending free-agent WR Corey Davis this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Turron Davenport.
Footballguys view: Davis could move on in free agency, leaving a hole in the WR corps opposite of A.J. Brown. Jones will be looking for a fresh start, and going to Tennessee would make a lot of sense. As in most cases, it will all come down to money and what kind of contract Jones demands on the open market. |

Free-agent WR Jake Kumerow, RB Antonio Williams and WR Tanner Gentry signed Reserve/Future contracts with the Buffalo Bills Monday, Jan. 25, according to sources. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Gentry was Josh Allen's favorite target in college at the University of Wyoming. He's bounced around the league a bit during his short time in the pros. Perhaps reuniting with Allen will help him stick on a roster. |

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (leg) told reporters Monday, Jan. 25, that he broke his fibula in Week 16 but that it wasn't a full break. He also added that he won't need surgery.
Footballguys view: No surprise here. Anyone who watched Beasley during the playoffs could tell that he wasn't quite himself. It's good news he doesn't need surgery, so with some rest we'll see him come back as a favorite target of QB Josh Allen once again in 2021. |

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 28 of his 48 passes for 287 yards, two touchdowns and an interception and rushed seven times for 88 yards in a 38-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24. RB Devin Singletary was bottled up, rushing for 17 yards and six carries and gaining nine yards on two catches. WR Cole Beasley had seven grabs for 88 yards, WR Stefon Diggs had six receptions on 11 targets for 77 yards, and TE Dawson Knox caught six balls for 42 yards and a touchdown. WR Isaiah McKenzie caught a six-yard touchdown pass on his only reception, and RB T.J. Yeldon had seven touches for 56 total yards. Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of his 38 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-24 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24. WR Tyreek Hill had nine catches for 172 yards, and TE Travis Kelce had 13 receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. WR Mecole Hardman had two catches for four yards and a score to go along with a 50-yard run and a lost fumble on special teams. RB Darrel Williams rushed 13 times for 52 yards and a touchdown and added one catch for nine yards. Clyde Edwards-Helaire had six carries for seven yards and a score. Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 33-of-48 passes for 346 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. RB Aaron Jones, who left the game early due to injury, left the team with 27 yards on six rushes. RB Jamaal Williams ran seven times for 23 yards and added four receptions for 22 yards. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling led the way with a game-high 115 yards on four receptions and a score, while WR Davante Adams had nine grabs for 67 yards and a score on 15 targets. WR Allen Lazard checked in with three receptions for 62 yards, while TE Marcedes Lewis had three grabs for 28 yards. TE Robert Tonyan also checked in with four grabs, 22 yards and a score. CB Jaire Alexander led the way with two interceptions, while totaling three total tackles and three passes defensed.
Footballguys view: Rodgers had a lot of chances to take control of this game in the second half after his team fell behind 18 points, but the Packers offense wasn't good enough in the red zone and Matt LaFleur chose to kick a field goal instead of going for it on fourth and goal at the 8, down 8 with about two minutes left. Jones has probably played his last down as a Packer, and Williams is also a free agent. Valdes-Scantling had a big game after playing only one snap the NFC title game last year. Adams impact on the game was not as big as expected and if anything Rodgers overreliance on him in the red zone hurt the team. The Packers will go back to the drawing board after getting one game from the Super Bowl two years in a row. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 20-of-36 passes for 280 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Jan. 24. It will be his 10th Super Bowl appearance, and the Bucs are the first team to play the game in their home stadium. RB Leonard Fournette ran 12 times for 55 yards and a touchdown while adding five receptions for 19 yards, RB Ronald Jones rushed 10 times for 16 yards, WR Chris Godwin racked up five receptions for a team-best 110 yards on nine targets and WR Mike Evans added three receptions for 51 yards and a score on eight targets. WR Scott Miller also cashed in his three targets for two catches, 36 yards and a touchdown, while TE Rob Gronkowski was limited to one catch for 29 yards on his lone target. TE Cameron Brate picked up three grabs for 19 yards and a score, while WR Tyler Johnson rounded things out with one catch for 16 yards. LB Devin White led the way defensively with a staggering game-high 15 total tackles, including nine of the solo variety.
Footballguys view: Brady wasn't the reason the Bucs won, but he did have two good long passes to offset his three interceptions, which his defense did a great job of minimizing in the story of the outcome of the game. Leonard Fournette goes to the Super Bowl with Tom Brady after his 2017 Jaguars team was ousted by Brady. Godwin had great hands deep on his key play early, while Evans hands were more suspect, although the interception off of his hands in the red zone was more on Brady than him. Tampa Bay will be the first team to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. |

The Kansas City Chiefs have declared RB Le'Veon Bell, WR Sammy Watkins, CB Thakarius Keyes, DE Tim Ward, DL Khalen Saunders, LB Willie Gay and OG Yasir Durant inactive for Conference Championships.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabriel Davis' 17.1 yards per reception this season ranked fourth among qualified players.
Footballguys view: Davis should be a fine replacement for John Brown if the Bills decide the veteran isn't worth 7+ million next season. |

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley's 23 receptions of 20-plus yards in 2020 were tied for the league lead.
Footballguys view: Ridley should be a second round fantasy pick in 2021 drafts and taken ahead of his teammate Julio Jones. |

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns WR Ryan Switzer has been signed to the Reserve/Futures list on a one-year contract.
Footballguys view: Switzer is a slot receiver who can get open underneath with quickness. He can work on special teams as well. Switzer hasn't done much as he's bounced around the league for a few years. |
Ryan Switzer player page

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman indicated in a recent interview that he is planning to play in 2021.
Footballguys view: Edelman is under contract through the 2021 season. He's got a cap number of $6.6 million and there is $2.6 million remaining in dead money. Edelman is planning to play next season, but we'll have to see if the Patriots want to bring him back at that price. |

Las Vegas Raiders impending free-agent WR Nelson Agholor may be too expensive for the Raiders to re-sign this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Paul Gutierrez.
Footballguys view: Agholor did a nice job for the Raiders in 2020. He finished with a career-high 896 receiving yards and tied his career best with 8 receiving touchdowns. Agholor's career stalled out with the Eagles, but he showed last year with the Raiders that he could still make plays. If the Raiders move on, Agholor has done enough to have multiple teams interested in his services. |

Green Bay Packers WR Allen Lazard (back, wrist) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 22, but is not on the injury report for the NFC Championship game.
Footballguys view: Lazard came through in a big way for the Packers in the Divisonal Round, snaring four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. He's the no.2 receiver for the Packers behind Davante Adams and could be called upon again to do big things against an aggressive Buccaneers secondary. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (quad) was limited in practice all week but was removed from the injury report for the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (knee) was limited in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report for the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers.
Footballguys view: Evans has a tough time shaking free against Saints CB Marshon Lattimore. He'll have a better time this week against the Packers, but the last time these two teams played (Week 6 2020) Evans only had one catch for 10 yards. Let's see if he can do more with a trip to the Super Bowl...in Tampa...on the line. |

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) practiced in full Friday, Jan. 22, and no longer appear on the injury report practiced in full Friday for the AFC Championship game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: Beasley has not been himself this entire postseason. He won't have Marlon Humphrey covering him like he did in the Divisional Round against the Ravens, so that means he could shake free more often on his option routes. |
Cole Beasley player page

Free-agent WR Deon Cain (Steelers) signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, Jan. 22.
Footballguys view: Cain is a player we've always tracked in crazy deep dynasty formats. He's athletic and a former Clemson receiver who has bounced around the league. The Ravens are a team where he could make the 53-man roster but it seems like a pipe dream to expect Cain to do much of anything at this point in his pro career. |

Green Bay Packers DL Kingsley Keke (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 22, and has been ruled out for the NFC Championship game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. LB Krys Barnes (thumb), PK Mason Crosby (shoulder), RB AJ Dillon (quad), WR Allen Lazard (wrist, back), S Will Redmond (knee), LB Za'Darius Smith (thumb), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee, ankle), OT Ricky Wagner (knee) and RB Jamaal Williams (ankle) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs (oblique) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Jan. 22, and was removed from the injury report for the AFC Championship game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: Diggs has been limited during the week of practice with this oblique injury for some time. He's good to go for game day and is the player the Chiefs have to concern themselves with the most in the Bills passing attack. |
Stefon Diggs player page

Buffalo Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Jan. 22, and is listed as questionable for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: Davis being banged up could be a bigger deal than some think. He's been able to catch tough passes in key situations for the Bills in the playoffs, mainly in the Wild Card Round. Davis has earned the trust of QB Josh Allen and could make a big play or two in a limited role behind Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and John Brown. |

Kansas City Chiefs LB Willie Gay (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills. RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Jan. 22, and is listed as questionable. CB Bashaud Breeland (concussion, shoulder), RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip), CB Rashad Fenton (foot) and WR Sammy Watkins (calf) were limited in practice all week and are also listed as questionable. Free-agent WR Ryan Switzer (Browns) signed a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns on Friday, Jan. 22. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill has been taking some reps returning punts in practice this week in case a key situation arises in the AFC Championship Game, Chiefs special teams coach Dave Toub said Friday, Jan. 22. Toub added that Hill has asked to do so. 'It's just a matter of finding the right time to call his number,' Toub said.
Footballguys view: Just like Dan Fouts said in the Waterboy, 'don't hold anything back!' The Chiefs have to do whatever it takes to get back to the Super Bowl. They are the favorites over the Bills, but it could be close and that's where a player like Hill can break things open on any touch. With a trip to Super Bowl LV on the line, it only makes sense for Hill to be an option as a punt returner. |
Tyreek Hill player page

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown (knee) will miss the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, Jan. 24, due to a knee injury, head coach Bruce Arians said Friday.
Footballguys view: Brown was going to be a game-time decision but he's just not close enough. Without him, the Buccaneers can turn to Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson to do more behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. |
Antonio Brown player page

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson's 2.66 receiving yards per route ranked second to Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams among receivers who ran 150 or more routes this season.
Footballguys view: Jefferson exploded onto the scene as a rookie in 2020. We're excited to see what he can do to build on that in the future as he continues to develop. |

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams led the NFL with 23 red zone receptions and 14 red zone touchdowns in 2020, and his 46 red zone touchdowns since 2016 are 17 more than any other player.
Footballguys view: Adams is a favorite target of QB Aaron Rodgers. He is one of the most trustworthy players in the league and knows how to work in cramped space down in the red zone. |
