Bills | Buffalo inks 13 to futures deals    Tue Jan 26, 04:52 PM

Free-agent OT Trey Adams, TE Nate Becker, RBs Christian Wade and Antonio Williams, DT Brandin Bryant, DEs Bryan Cox Jr. and Mike Love, WRs Tanner Gentry, Jake Kumerow and Duke Williams, CB Dane Jackson, S Josh Thomas and QB Davis Webb signed Reserve/Future contracts with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Footballguys view: Gentry was a favorite target of QB Josh Allen in college at the University of Wyoming. He's a try-hard slot receiver who has bounced around the league. Let's see if working with Allen again can help him stick on a roster.

Bills | Cole Beasley played with serious leg injury    Mon Jan 25, 02:07 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (leg) told reporters Monday, Jan. 25, that he broke his fibula in Week 16 but that it wasn't a full break. He also added that he won't need surgery.

Footballguys view: No surprise here. Anyone who watched Beasley during the playoffs could tell that he wasn't quite himself. It's good news he doesn't need surgery, so with some rest we'll see him come back as a favorite target of QB Josh Allen once again in 2021.

Bills | Gabriel Davis stretching the field    Sat Jan 23, 11:35 PM

Bills | Daryl Williams may be too expensive for Bills    Fri Jan 22, 08:07 PM

Buffalo Bills impending free-agent OT Daryl Williams may be too expensive for the Bills this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Marcel Louis-Jacques. The Bills may consider re-signing OG Jon Feliciano and LB Matt Milano as bigger priorities than re-signing Williams.

Bills | Cole Beasley cleared to play    Fri Jan 22, 04:40 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) practiced in full Friday, Jan. 22, and no longer appear on the injury report practiced in full Friday for the AFC Championship game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Footballguys view: Beasley has not been himself this entire postseason. He won't have Marlon Humphrey covering him like he did in the Divisional Round against the Ravens, so that means he could shake free more often on his option routes.

Bills | Stefon Diggs good to go against Kansas City    Fri Jan 22, 04:02 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs (oblique) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Jan. 22, and was removed from the injury report for the AFC Championship game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Footballguys view: Diggs has been limited during the week of practice with this oblique injury for some time. He's good to go for game day and is the player the Chiefs have to concern themselves with the most in the Bills passing attack.

Bills | Gabriel Davis deemed questionable for AFCCG    Fri Jan 22, 03:44 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Jan. 22, and is listed as questionable for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Footballguys view: Davis being banged up could be a bigger deal than some think. He's been able to catch tough passes in key situations for the Bills in the playoffs, mainly in the Wild Card Round. Davis has earned the trust of QB Josh Allen and could make a big play or two in a limited role behind Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and John Brown.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) was added to the injury report and limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 21.

Bills | Gabriel Davis held out of practice again    Thu Jan 21, 05:18 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday, Jan. 21.

Footballguys view: That's back-to-back days missed for the young receiver. Davis can make big plays on limited opportunities, so it would be a blow to the Bills if he can't play in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Bills | Gabriel Davis misses practice    Wed Jan 20, 04:41 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Footballguys view: Davis has made some big plays during the postseason, mainly in the Wild Card Round. It will be key for them to have depth players like Davis come through with limited opportunities against the Chiefs on Sunday. We'll see if Davis can do more later in the week.

Buffalo Bills RB Devonta Freeman, C Jonotthan Harrison, WR Kenny Stills and RB Antonio Williams were designated as protected practice squad players for the AFC Championship Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Footballguys view: They haven't needed Stills yet as Cole Beasley has been able to play through injury during the playoffs. However, the veteran receiver is a great player to have around if you need to go deeper at the position with one -- and maybe two -- games left for the Bills this postseason.

Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) underwent a minor surgical procedure on his ankle Tuesday, Jan. 19, according to his representation.

Footballguys view: Moss was lost for the postseason in the Wild Card Round due to this ankle injury. The Bills didn't really want to run the ball in the Divisional Round against the Ravens, and we'll see if Devin Singletary gets more work in the AFC Championship against the Chiefs on Sunday. Moss is expected to be ready for offseason workouts and training camp.

Bills | Josh Allen best against the blitz    Tue Jan 19, 03:11 PM

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has thrown for league-best marks of 1,907 yards and 19 touchdowns against the blitz this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Footballguys view: Allen has really flourished this year as a passer, and the Bills have become one of the most pass-happy teams in the league because of it. He's helped greatly by WR Stefon Diggs, but even guys further down the depth chart like WR Gabriel Davis can come through for Allen when the pressure is on.

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is expected to remain in his current post after losing out to Brandon Staley for the head coaching job with the Los Angeles Chargers, according to multiple sources.

Footballguys view: Daboll was considered the front-runner for the Chargers job but they hired Brandon Staley instead. With Daboll staying put, that's got to be considered good news for QB Josh Allen and the Bills offense.

Bills | Cole Beasley remains limited    Wed Jan 13, 03:52 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Bills | Zack Moss lands on IR    Tue Jan 12, 01:18 PM

Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Jan. 12. The Browns elevated OL Jordan Devey from the practice squad to replace him on the active roster.

Footballguys view: The Bills signed Devonta Freeman to get more help in the running back room now that Moss is done for the postseason. Devin Singletary should get a larger role, and T.J. Yeldon should work as his primary backup.

Bills | Devonta Freeman to Bills    Tue Jan 12, 10:10 AM

Free-agent RB Devonta Freeman (Giants) was signed to the Buffalo Bills' practice squad Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Footballguys view: Freeman's playing days aren't done yet! The Giants released Freeman from Injured Reserve on January 7th, but the Bills pick him up for their playoff run. Buffalo was prompted to do that due to the postseason-ending ankle injury to Zack Moss. Freeman is a seasoned veteran who should have a spot behind starter Devin Singletary (although we don't expect him this week against the Ravens). T.J. Yeldon should get an increased role with Moss down.

Bills | Zack Moss done for the postseason    Mon Jan 11, 03:02 PM

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) will miss the remainder of the NFL Playoffs due to the ankle injury he suffered during the AFC Wild Card game versus the Indianapolis Colts.

Footballguys view: Moss brings power to the Bills backfield, working in tandem with Devin Singletary. The rookie back will now be replaced by T.J. Yeldon, although Yeldon might not get the amount of touches or responsibility that Moss had.

Bills | Zack Moss to miss time    Sat Jan 9, 05:59 PM

Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) will miss some time because of the ankle injury he suffered during the Wild Card playoff game and could miss rest of the playoffs depending on how far the Bills go and how fast he can recover.

Footballguys view: It's still early but it sounds like it could be a high-ankle sprain. Those require more time to heal from and just take rest. A 'regular' sprain would mean rest during the week but perhaps Moss could be available for the Divisional Round. It sounds like that won't be the case, which means Devin Singletary will get a starter's workload for the Bills as they continue on in the postseason.

Bills | Buffalo advances to Divisional Round    Sat Jan 9, 05:50 PM

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen went 26-for-35 for 324 yards and two touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card playoff game and also rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries during the game. RB Devin Singletary rushed for 21 yards on three carries, while RB Zack Moss rushed for 21 yards on seven carries. WR Stefon Diggs caught six passes for 128 yards and one touchdown on nine targets, WR Gabriel Davis caught four passes for 85 yards on four targets and WR Cole Beasley caught seven passes for 57 yards on seven targets.

Footballguys view: The Bills defense was gassed by the Colts offense and it came down to the final throw of the game. Buffalo gets their first playoff win since 1995 and now advance to the Divisional Round.

Bills | Zack Moss suffers ankle injury    Sat Jan 9, 03:31 PM

Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) was carted off the field with an ankle injury early in the fourth quarter of the team's wild-card game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, Jan. 9, and his return is listed as doubtful.

Footballguys view: Moss will be examined after the game and we'll know more about the severity of the injury. A high-ankle sprain could bounce Moss from the Divisional Round. A regular sprain would mean Moss would miss time in practice next week but have a chance to play. Stay tuned.

Bills | Josh Allen joins exclusive club    Sat Jan 9, 02:46 PM

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen on Saturday, Jan. 9, became the fifth player in NFL history with a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in the postseason. The others are QB Nick Foles, WR Julian Edelman, QB Kordell Stewart and RB Freeman McNeil.

Footballguys view: When the Bills offense is hot it has to do with Allen. He was outstanding for the Bills in the game against the Colts on Saturday. Allen is a bright young star and one of the best quarterbacks in the game today.
