Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson and Louisiana State University TE Mason Taylor are reportedly the two players that the Cleveland Browns are eyeing with their two second-round selections on Friday, April 25 (Nos. 33 and 36 overall).
Link to storyUniversity of Miami (Fla.) QB Cam Ward was selected with the first overall pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft, but not before the New York Giants reportedly offered the No. 3 overall pick, their 2026 first-round selection and 'other picks' to move up, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Link to storyUniversity of Alabama OG Tyler Booker was selected with the 12th overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 NFL Draft, but not before the Houston Texans made a push to acquire the pick, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones on 105.3 The Fan.
Link to storyOhio State WR Emeka Egbuka was reportedly a trade-up target for the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans before he was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 19th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.'My understanding was that there were two teams both trying to trade up: It was the Texans and the Rams. And the moment the Bucs surprised everybody by taking Emeka Egbuka, the receiver from Ohio State, the calls stopped. Those teams were calling all the teams above them and, all of a sudden, the calls stopped. So that's the belief that Egbuka was the guy,' Pelissero told The Dan Patrick Show.
Footballguys view: The Buccaneers threw a bit of a curveball at no.19 overall with the pick of Egbuka. Now that the Rams and Texans are still in the wide receiver market, we'll see if they make a move on Day 2 of the draft. |
Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens has reportedly been the subject of multiple calls from teams interested in trading for him as the Steelers attempt to reclaim a second-round pick they lost as a result of trading for DK Metcalf, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Footballguys view: Pickens has reportedly been on the trading block for some time now. The Steelers have DK Metcalf as their top receiver, and they may be moving on from Pickens if the price is right. Oh yeah, they need to figure out the quarterback situation too. |

Louisiana State University TE Mason Taylor is reportedly the target of the New York Jets with the No. 42 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft on Friday, April 25. However, the belief is Taylor is unlikely to fall that far, according to Sportskeeda's Tony Pauline.
Footballguys view: The Jets could have been in the market for Tyler Warren (Penn State) if OT Armand Membou wasn't on the board when they picked in the first round. They went with the offensive lineman in the first round, so now it's time to look at tight end. Taylor can make an immediate impact in this league because of his size and hands. |
Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Friday, April 25, that he doesn't 'feel the need to reach' when asked about selecting a running back in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Cowboys currently have Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, Deuce Vaughn and Malik Davis vying for backfield snaps.
Footballguys view: Sitting at no.12 overall in the first round, some felt the Cowboys may go with Omarion Hampton (North Carolina). Instead, they build their offensive line with OG Tyler Booker (Alabama) in the first round. This is an incredibly deep draft at the running back position, so the Cowboys could find a really good player in the second or third round. |
