Patriots | Kayshon Boutte remains limited Thu Sep 11, 05:00 PM
New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: A full practice on Friday would make us feel better here. Boutte was a hot waiver wire addition this week, and he's got a lot of upside as a favorite for QB Drake Maye. Let's circle back to see what he can do Friday. |

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: This is looking like a game-time decision. Nothing has been announced, but Bowers insists he's fine with this knee injury. It may not be a serious knee injury, but it's cause for pause when considering your starting lineup. Let's see what Bowers does on Friday. |
Cincinnati Bengals DT B.J. Hill (non-injury) and OT Amarius Mims (ankle) were limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 11. LS William Wagner (hamstring) fully participated in practice.

Baltimore Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (foot) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: He's not on Injured Reserve, so Likely can come back when he's ready without missing a minimum amount of games. It doesn't seem like Week 2 against the Browns is going to be the contest he returns for. |
Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Judkins could play in Week 2 against the Ravens. Thursday was his first practice with the team in over a month. Judkins is a two-down banger who can help the Browns offense. Dylan Sampson is still likely to get work as a pass-catching back for the Browns if/when Judkins gets on the field. |
Cleveland Browns OT Jack Conklin (eye, elbow), DT Michael Hall Jr. (knee), OT Dawand Jones (knee) and CB Denzel Ward (Achilles, shoulder) were limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 11. OG Joel Bitonio (non-injury) and RB Quinshon Judkins (non-injury) fully participated in practice.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (glute) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: The Colts scored on every drive against the Dolphins in Week 1. That's not going to happen against the Broncos defense in Week 2. With Pittman drawing DPOY Pat Surtain for most of this contest, we can only recommend him as a flex play. |
New York Giants LB Micah McFadden (foot) and LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (calf) did not practice on Thursday, Sept. 11. WR Wan'Dale Robinson (ankle), OT Andrew Thomas (foot), DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot), and WR Darius Slayton (groin) were limited in practice on Thursday. Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) missed practice on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: It's not looking good for Goedert this week as the Eagles prepare for the Chiefs. If he can't play, the Eagles will just get more targets for AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) may be available to play in Week 2 depending on how he feels after practicing this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles.
Link to storyTampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (ankle) may be available to play in Week 2 depending on how he feels after practicing this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles.
Footballguys view: This is a bit surprising given most expected Godwin to be out until Week 5 or Week 6. Godwin just got back to practice, and it seems a bit 'pie in the sky' to expect him back in Week 2. Anything can happen, so stay tuned for Friday's report and more information. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is scheduled to work in some capacity at practice on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Great news for the Chiefs, but it doesn't mean Worthy is for sure playing against the Eagles in Week 2. He'll get some work in on Thursday, and then we'll see if he can be a full participant on Friday. |
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk (hamstring) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Kirk was expected to make a couple of weeks when this injury was first sustained. If he misses Week 2, the Texans will once again turn to rookie WRs Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. |

Link to storyBaltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson will have no action taken against him by the NFL for shoving a fan in the first row of the stands during Week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. The Ravens have handled the incident internally, according to Florio.
Footballguys view: Jackson avoids any discipline, so he's good to go. The fan pushed DeAndre Hopkins helmet as they walked by, and Jackson exchanged some shoves. The NFL has banned the fan from games, and Jackson is going to be out there in Week 2 against the Browns. He's a set-it-and-forget-it starter with the upside to be the best fantasy quarterback every week. |

San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones will start Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints.
Footballguys view: Kyle Shanahan reportedly loved Jones coming out of college, but the front office decided to move up for Trey Lance. Now, Jones gets to prove Shanahan right as the team's starter. Purdy is week-to-week with a variation of turf toe, so Jones could be in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future. |

New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Robinson should be good for Week 2 against the Cowboys. With his injury status and the matchup, Robinson is more of a WR4/flex play for Fantasy GMs out there. |
Minnesota Vikings S Harrison Smith (undisclosed) said he's making progress in his recovery from a personal health issue that began last month, ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert reported on Wednesday. Smith, who is confident that he will resume playing in less than three weeks, declined to be specific about the nature of the issue other than to say it was 'physical' - as opposed to a mental health matter.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (back) will be a full participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: A full participation makes us fell a lot better about Nabers' availability. A back injury is nothing to mess around with, but Nabers seems to be on the right track here. |
Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins is progressing towards playing on Sunday, according to a report by ESPN.com's Daniel Oyefusi. 'We'll take it day to day to see how he continues to progress in practice. It takes some extra work to make sure that we catch him up after a Wednesday practice, but Thursdays and Fridays are really pivotal days throughout the week,' Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees said.
Footballguys view: Judkins has missed training camp and hasn't practiced with the team since his arrest in July. The Browns could have him out there against the Ravens in Week 2, but his workload should be limited. Even if Judkins plays, fellow rookie RB Dylan Sampson should be involved enough to be a 'what the heck' flex. |
San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (foot) has been ruled out for Week 2.
Footballguys view: 49ers GM John Lynch did say Purdy's injury is a week-to-week basis. Purdy is out in Week 2, and his status for the next month or so is up in the air. In the meantime, Mac Jones will start for the 49ers. A favorite of Kyle Shanahan when he came out of college, Jones will have an opportunity to impress in a good system. |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) will see practice time Thursday, Sept. 11, as part of his conditioning plan to return to action.
Link to storyTampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (ankle) is expected to practice in limited fashion Thursday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Godwin is expected to return sometime in October, either Week 5 or Week 6. The Buccaneers are just getting him warmed up as he gets back in football shape. |
