Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (foot), OT Luke Goedeke (foot), and WR Mike Evans (rest) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 12. S Christian Izien (oblique), CB Zyon McCollum (neck, shoulder), CB Benjamin Morrison (quad), and LB Haason Reddick (quad) practiced in full on Friday.
Footballguys view: The Bucs are already likely to be without their left tackle, Wirfs. If their right tackle, Goedeke is also out, the Texans pass rush will be tough to slow down on Monday night. Don't expect a ceiling game from Baker Mayfield this week. |

CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee) was limited in practice on Friday but no longer appears on the injury report. S Quandre Diggs (hand) and LB Arden Key (pectoral) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: The Rams catch a small, or actually rather large break with the 360+ pound Sweat out against an offensive line that has two banged up guards. Latham will be missed on the Titans offensive line - expect the Rams edge rush to attack his replacement. |

Carolina Panthers DT Tershawn Wharton (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 12, and has been ruled out for Week 2. LB Patrick Jones II (ankle), WR Hunter Renfrow (ribs), OG Robert Hunt (foot), OG Damien Lewis (ankle, shoulder), DE A'Shawn Robinson (groin) and CB Akayleb Evans (illness) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Ekwonu is recovering from an August 24 appendectomy. The team will err on the side of caution, but if their starting left tackle can play on Sunday, it should be a boost for Bryce Young, who certainly needs one right now. |

Chicago Bears CB Kyler Gordon (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Detroit Lions. WR Jahdae Walker (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 12, and is listed as doubtful. DL Grady Jarrett (knee) was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. CB Josh Blackwell (groin), LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring), CB Jaylon Johnson (calf, groin), RB Roschon Johnson (foot), and WR DJ Moore (abdomen, groin) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: The Bears secondary will miss Gordon against the Lions passing game after JJ McCarthy came alive in the fourth quarter to snatch a comeback victory against a Bears defense that shut him down for three quarters. Roschon Johnson has been nursing that foot injury for weeks. Head coach Ben Johnson said he wants to get seventh round pick Kyle Monangai more involved this week. Johnson could also get his number called this week as the Bears will look to run more early than they did last week. |

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 12, but is listed as doubtful for Week 2.
Footballguys view: Worthy would be a risky play only 9 days removed from a dislocated shoulder and wearing a harness anyway, so this isn't a bad break for fantasy. Marquise Brown is a solid WR3/Flex in PPR leagues as he'll likely lead the way in targets, but Juju Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton will play larger roles with Worthy likely out. |

New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 12, and is listed as questionable for Week 2.
Footballguys view: Robinson got in a limited practice on Thursday too. If you need him in your deep PPR league, make sure he is active against the Cowboys on Sunday morning before plugging him into your lineup. |
Buffalo Bills DL Ed Oliver (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the New York Jets. Atlanta Falcons WR Jamal Agnew (groin), S Jordan Fuller (knee) and WR Casey Washington (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. OL Jack Nelson (calf) was a limited participant on Friday, Sept. 12, but has also been ruled out. DE James Pearce Jr. (groin) and S DeMarcco Hellams (hamstring) were limited participants on Friday and are listed as questionable. DB Billy Bowman Jr. (shoulder) was a full participant and is listed as questionable. DE Leonard Floyd (rest) and DL David Onyemata (rest) did not practice on Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. OT Jake Matthews (rest) was a limited participant but is expected to play. WRs Darnell Mooney (shoulder) and WR Drake London (shoulder) were full participants and have also been removed from the injury report.
Footballguys view: Mooney and London being off of the injury report is all the clearance you need to start them where you normally would. The Vikings are not an easy defense to pass against, but Michael Penix Jr. should have more success than Caleb Williams did in Week 1. |

Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk did not practice Friday, Sept. 12.
Footballguys view: The Texans don't play until Monday night, but Kirk isn't going to play if he can't practice for the first two days of the week after missing the opener with a hamstring injury. Veterans Justin Watson and Xavier Hutchinson got more snaps than rookies Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel last week with Kirk out. We'll see if the team divvies up the snaps similarly against the Bucs. |

Indianapolis Colts CB Charvarius Ward (concussion) will not be available for the Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys view: This is an uptick for Courtland Sutton and Bo Nix's matchup. Ward is the best outside corner on the Colts roster after they signed him away from the 49ers on a three-year, $54 million deal. |
